Job Description

This is a fast-paced position that requires experienced drivers to safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and other heavy equipment. Drivers will need to be comfortable maneuvering vehicles in loading and unloading positions.

• Follow assigned routes/schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting and maintenance or repair needs
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details
• Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members
• Understand and comply with all State, Federal, CDL, DOT, and TSA regulations

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements
• Familiar with FMCSA guidance/regulations
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards
• Experience with load securement techniques for various types of cargo (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Exudes professional attitude and behavior

Requirements: 

• No felony convictions within the last 7 years; all other felony and misdemeanor charges will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis
• Clean motor vehicle record and good CSA standing; no suspensions in the last 36 months; no citations or convictions for reckless or careless driving; no DUI convictions
• Must meet physical requirements established by DOT and have or be able to provide a valid medical card
• Must submit to and pass a drug test prior to employment

Physical Requirements: 

Work environment may include the use of pallet jacks or other equipment for loading/unloading purposes. Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds required.

Compensation: Full-time, Contract $350-400/day ** ($84,000-$104,000)
