Truck Driver 30ft to 40ft Hotshot
We are seeking experienced and motivated Truck Drivers to join our team. If you have a passion for the open road, a commitment to safety, and a desire to maximize your earning potential, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Operate our truck and trailer to transport various types of cargo, including but not limited to, construction materials, equipment, and oversized loads.
- Safely and efficiently load, secure, and unload cargo, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Plan and execute routes, considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Perform regular inspections for maintenance on our truck and trailer to ensure they are in good working order and comply with all applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of mileage, fuel usage, and cargo details.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to provide updates on delivery status, address any issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of truck and trailer being operated for CDL operated vehicles.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a truck driver.
- Strong knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding commercial trucking.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and make sound decisions on the road.
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures, including any additional safety requirements.
- Availability to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Clean MVR- (Your driving record cannot have any speeding tickets, accidents or moving violations for the last 3 years that is verifiable by your state DMV
- Must be willing to do OTR work, typically out a MINIMUM of 2 weeks at a time before returning home.
- Must be physically able to perform daily duties including tarping, chaining, binding, and strapping.
- Must have a basic understanding of DOT Hour of Service and willingness to abide by them.
- Must have a basic knowledge of ELDs
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation will be based on a percentage of revenue, determined by deducting business expenses from the gross earnings.
