Jr. Accountant

Stabilit America, one of the nation’s leaders in the manufacturing and distribution of Fiberglass reinforced panels, has an immediate opening for a Jr. Accountant for our office located in Moscow, TN. This position will report to the Plant Controller. Primary responsibilities would include: assist Accounting with month end closing, prepare monthly journal entries, verify state tax compliance daily with customer shipments, prepare monthly reports, and perform other accounting tasks in support of our financial team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of all accounting functions in order to assist and backup team members, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently as well as excel in a team environment, one to 3 years general ledger experience would be a definite plus. Accuracy and timeliness of tasks are essential. Prefer someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field and proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications.
