Responsibilities and Duties:

The Field Service Technician role is an ideal opportunity for individuals with a mechanical background. As part of the Atlantic Healthcare Products & Medical Supply team, you will be responsible for the following:

• Acting as a company field representative, troubleshooting, servicing, evaluating equipment for repairs, and repairing certain equipment.
• Pulling equipment and supplies, loading and delivering orders promptly to customer location
• Troubleshooting technical issues and providing hands-on support
• Recommending product or service upgrades based on customer needs
• Familiarizing customers with product functions and safety instructions
• Maintaining a professional image at all times
• Adhering to established policies and procedures
• Picking up, cleaning, and function-testing rental equipment
• Completing delivery and pick-up paperwork accurately
• Promoting teamwork among co-workers by assisting fellow drivers as needed
• Working on-call rotating schedules on a pre-determined basis
• Performing warehouse or office tasks as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

To qualify for the Field Service Technician role, applicants must have the following:

• A valid Florida State driver's license in good standing with no suspensions
• Computer and smartphone literacy
• A responsible and cooperative attitude, with sensitivity to patient conditions
• Mechanical/technical repair skills for mobility equipment
• The ability to pass a background check, drug test, and FBI fingerprinting.
• The ability to lift and transport up to 75 lbs.
• The ability to sit and drive a delivery vehicle for part of the day
• The ability to climb ladders and move inventory in a warehouse.

Compensation, Benefits, and Hours

We offer competitive salaries and hours for our Field Service Technician role. 

Hourly Pay Range: $16.50-$20/hour,  based on experience. 

Part-time and full-time positions are available. Our business hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, sometimes extending to 7 pm, with Saturday, 10 am - 3 pm.
