Summary:
This position reports to the CFO and is responsible for performing and coordinating all Human Resource Activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process; job postings; attend and participate in career fairs and other internal and external recruiting opportunities.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Reviews, leads, tracks, coordinates and documents compliance with training,
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions;
- Implements and leads new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Drives the Performance Review and Talent Management Process, providing insight and depth to reviews and conversations as needed.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensations, benefits, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, and training and development.
- Coaches managers on navigating difficult personnel matters,
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Handles employment related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
- Coordinates company functions.
Qualifications:
Skills:
- Minimum Education: a bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of Human Resources experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred
- Thorough knowledge of Human Resource law, principles, and best practices
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience with various aspects of Human Resources including recruiting and on-boarding
- Demonstrated strong Employee Relations Skill and teambuilding skills
- Judgment - Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.
- Confidentiality – is privy to confidential information and must maintain the highest standards of integrity.
- Dependability - Follows instructions; Takes responsibility for own actions; Completes tasks on time.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Work environment is in the primarily in the office.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
