Position Overview
As a Pricing Analyst, you will develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize profitability and market share for AEM’s product lines. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market and business data to make informed pricing decisions aligned with the company’s goals and management priorities. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to support strategic pricing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Pricing Strategy Development: Develop and implement pricing strategies for all product lines to achieve business objectives. Conduct competitive pricing analysis and market research to inform pricing decisions.
- Pricing Analysis: Analyze market, business, and pricing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Monitor and evaluate the impact of pricing strategies on sales and profitability.
- Market Research: Gather and analyze market intelligence on competitors, customers, and industry trends. Provide insights and recommendations based on market research findings.
- Pricing Implementation: Manage the implementation of pricing changes and ensure alignment with business goals. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to communicate pricing strategies to customers and stakeholders.
- Sales Support: Provide pricing support to the sales team, including developing price quotes and proposals. Assist in preparing pricing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to assess the profitability of pricing strategies. Develop pricing models and tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product development, finance, and operations teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in pricing, finance, or a related analytical role, with a proven track record of success.
- Extensive experience with pricing analysis, modeling, competitive analysis, and market research.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, and similar software.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and leading pricing initiatives.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights to senior management and functional leaders.
Travel
The position may require occasional travel for meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
