Senior Account ExecutiveDrug Hunter, a global leader in information services for preclinical drug discovery, is looking for an ambitious and driven Senior Account Executive.
As a key member of Drug Hunter's Commercial team, you'll identify, qualify, and develop new business, playing a crucial role in driving net revenue growth by fostering the acquisition, growth, and retention of our corporate accounts in the biotech, pharma, non-profit, and investment communities.
Your customer base will include scientists, management, and senior executives. You will work closely with Drug Hunter's scientists, senior managers, and other commercial team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement sales plans for allocated accounts
- Lead team engagements with assigned accounts to achieve company goals
- Develop and maintain outstanding account relationships through effective communication, education, reporting, and support
- Provide product feedback and commercial intelligence from clients to the rest of the Drug Hunter team for continuous product and process improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related science
- 3-5+ years' of full sales cycle/closing experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Additional Success Factors:
- Familiarity with the drug discovery process and/or medicinal chemistry, research literature, databases, technical software
- Team-player eager to work with colleagues to develop a growing sales pipeline in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excitement to help scientists discover the medicines of the future by introducing innovative products and services through technical sales
- Strong teaching ability to explain how scientifically-sophisticated solutions can advance customer business objectives, and how Drug Hunter's products and services differentiate from what currently exists
