The Treasury Management Analyst (TM Analyst) is responsible for supporting the Treasury Management Department’s day-to-day operations through report monitoring, completion of annual client risk assessments, providing documentation for internal and external audits, and capturing treasury management fees for services and products. This position works closely with other treasury business lines of Onboarding and Sales, as well as various internal departments, and contacts Relationship Officers and/or clients regarding exceptions on daily reports.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
•Responsible for the control, log, and preparation of daily and monthly reports; includes contacting Relationship Officers and/or clients regarding exceptions on daily reports
•Responsible for annual notification to ACH Originators of NACHA rule updates
•Ensures regulatory compliance through conducting annual security and underwriting reviews and addressing processing limits and risk ratings for treasury services clients
•Oversees obtaining a completed self-assessment from all Remote Deposit Capture and Mobile Deposit treasury clients
•Sets up and/or reviews proper fee assessment via the account analysis system for treasury clients’ products and services
•Works closely with the Onboarding and/or Sales team members on establishment of accounts in the analysis system, including group analysis arrangements; ensures the required documentation and approvals are obtained in accordance with procedures
•Receives monthly billing files from vendors and uploads files into enhanced account analysis system for assessment of fees; verifies fees are assessed accurately to client accounts
•Assists with providing requested documents for internal and external audits; includes review of documents to ensure most current documentation is provided
•Experienced colleague may train new colleagues
•Other duties or special projects may be assigned
Minimum Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
•High School Diploma or GED
•One-to-two years related work experience in a financial institution, specifically focused on cash or treasury management products for businesses
•Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Accounting) and three plus years’ experience in a financial institution, specifically focused on cash or treasury management products for businesses or equivalent work experience is preferred
•Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, procedures, and memos
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Excellent organizational skills and time management
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to very effectively present information to other employees of the organization
•Detail oriented
•Demonstrated expertise in using effective problem solving and analytical skills with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
