UTRS Advanced Manufacturing (UTRS AM) is currently seeking CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team! This position will be responsible for providing CNC machine setup on 2-axis and multi-axis Doosan Lathes, along with operating and performing quality inspection for the machined components.

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of our Lathe Department.  Duties include:

• Independently be able to set-up 2-axis and multi-axis CNC lathe machines
• Work with Quality Control department to produce in-process inspection documents
• Perform 1st article inspection of parts coming off new set-up, teach operators how to inspect
• Strong experience interpreting blueprints, knowledge of GD&T
• Operate and setup automated bar feeder systems
• Knowledge of cutting tools, along with feeds and speeds
• Maintenance knowledge and abilities helpful, for Doosan and Haas equipment

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining.
• Must be a team player, able to multitask and prioritize accordingly.
• Basic PC knowledge required, (MS Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Must be able to work in a physical capacity, lifting and moving heavy objects.
• High school diploma required, college or trade school degree beneficial, but not required.
• Mechanical inspection, using bench top tooling, CMM helpful.
• Must have reliable source of transportation to arrive at work.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance.
