The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, production, logistics, and inventory management. This role aims to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Supply Chain Strategy:**
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure continuity of operations.
2. **Procurement and Supplier Management:**
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
3. **Logistics and Distribution:**
- Oversee the logistics and distribution functions, including transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation and distribution of goods.
4. **Inventory Management:**
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement policies to manage excess or obsolete inventory.
5. **Production Planning:**
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure manufacturing processes align with demand forecasts.
- Implement production scheduling and capacity planning to optimize resource utilization.
6. **Performance Monitoring and Reporting:**
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations, such as delivery performance, inventory turnover, and cost savings.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on supply chain performance and improvement initiatives.
7. **Continuous Improvement:**
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.
8. **Team Leadership and Development:**

Qualifications:
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is preferred.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
