XSITE LLC is looking for a Software Test Engineer (Level I) to join our team in San Diego, Colorado Springs, or Denver.

We are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned company headquartered in San Diego. We provide full spectrum systems and systems-of-systems engineering and integration services and solutions for space, C5ISR, cyber and enterprise information systems.

We are transitioning over to a sustainment work for a dedicated Modeling and Simulation software application supporting the U.S. Space Force (USSF), Space Systems Command (SSC). This application provides critical predictive information to SATCOM System Experts, RSSCs, and CCMD J6’s to make informed communication planning decisions. As part of this sustainment work, there are new requirements for specific Software Quality Assurance Engineer. 

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Develop Test Plans for existing and new software components
• Execute Test Plans to evaluate stories as they are completed
• Document defects using Azure Dev Ops
• Review technical documentation with software implementation to ensure technical accuracy
• Analyze detailed results from computational engineering model
• Work with team of developers to understand requirements and implementation details
• Utilize Agile/Scrum methodologies as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

• 1+ years of experience in the software testing role
• Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Clearance
• Expertise testing web based single page apps (ReactJs)
• Experience with multi-tier architectures, SQL
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing and evaluation of detailed computational models
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance

Telework: Hybrid remote/onsite, with typical set schedule at Government facility

Travel: <10%

Salary: $60k-$90k
