Web Development Manager

Location: Hoffman Estates (Hybrid)

About ThePosition

Our client is seeking a highly skilled individual to lead our new Web Services Department. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, managerialcapabilities, and strategic vision to drive the development and maintenance ofcutting-edge web solutions. This role involves overseeing a range of servicesincluding custom website development, ongoing maintenance, web analytics,mobile optimization, and digital marketing integration, ensuring high-qualityservice delivery to support our clients' digital marketing efforts.

TechnicalSkills

· Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such asWordPress, Shopify, and Wix.

· Competence in server-side languages including Node.js, Python,Ruby, or PHP.

· Understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), server management, andcloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

· Strong grasp of UI/UX principles and familiarity with tools likeAdobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.

· Expertise in SEO and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.

· Knowledge of web security best practices and tools.

· Demonstrated success in web services roles, ideally in aleadership position.

· Familiarity with the digital marketing industry and the role ofweb services in supporting marketing efforts.

ManagerialSkills

· Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering acollaborative and innovative environment.

· Expertise in project management methodologies.

· Skill in developing and executing strategic plans, setting goals,and measuring performance.

· Experience in budgeting, cost management, and financial planningfor web projects.

· Drive continuous improvement and innovation in web technologies.
