WordPress Web Development Project Manager

Market My Market, a fully-remote digital marketing agency focused on delivering results for legal, medical and dental clients across the United States, is looking for a Web Development Project Manager to help  manage and develop a team of overseas web developers as they rebuild websites and build custom website designs on the WordPress CMS.

You will work closely with the Director of SEO and other web development-related roles at the organization to build up your team and ensure the web development process undergoes a smooth transition from our current production arrangement. 

The ideal candidate must have experience sourcing and managing multiple overseas wordpress developers with aggressive deadlines. This candidate will be strong at having developers adhere to specifications, creates projects that require too much QA, or exceeds timelines.  

This role is a full-time position, though Market My Market will consider both full-time salaried candidates as well as long-term independent contractors. 
 

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and managing a team of overseas web developers
• Ensuring high quality, low budget rebuilds from non-wordpress websites to wordpress
• Guiding the rebuilds of 4-6 word press rebuilds per month
• Give clear, direct feedback to web developers overseas
• Firing and replacing web developers that underperform
• Manage web developers on freelance platforms such as upwork or others
• Reviewing new websites for quality assurance

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and spoken communication
• A sense of urgency and clear direction 
• At least 3-5 years of experience as a project manager
• Experience building sites on wordpress
• Experience managing overseas teams across multiple languages and time zones
