We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Pricing Analyst in the Paper/Packaging industry. The role is based in BUFFALO GROVE, Illinois, United States, and involves analyzing pricing modules, understanding profitability concepts, and utilizing SAP and Excel formulas.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed pricing analysis to determine pricing models and profitability.
• Use SAP for data processing and analysis in accordance with industry requirements.
• Utilize Excel formulas for complex data manipulation and financial modeling.
• Analyze and interpret profit and loss (P& L) statements to understand financial performance.
• Provide forecasting insights to aid strategic decision making in the manufacturing and logistics process.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of pricing data and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
• Conduct regular reviews of pricing strategies and models, making necessary adjustments in response to market trends and business goals.
• Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation of pricing information.
• Provide expert advice and reports on pricing analysis findings to guide management decisions.• Possess strong forecasting skills, with the ability to predict and analyze market trends.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of logistics and its application in the paper/packaging industry.
• Exhibit knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in the context of paper/packaging.
• Proficiency in using SAP software for various business operations.
• Ability to create and manage complex Excel formulas.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis.
• Have a deep understanding of pricing strategies and their implementation.
• Ability to conduct detailed pricing analysis to support strategic decision-making.
