We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Controller will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of our organization. This position involves a variety of tasks including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and generating financial reports. The Controller will also ensure compliance with accounting and legal requirements, and collaborate with management to assist in financial decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial planning, cash flow, and budgeting processes to ensure the financial stability of the organization

• Generate accurate and timely financial reports, including budgets, financial statements, and forecasts

• Collaborate closely with the CFO to oversee all financial operations within the company

• Supervise the payables, receivables, and invoicing processes to ensure accuracy

• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure the highest proficiency

• Ensure the company’s financial systems and procedures comply with laws, regulations, and professional practices

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position

• Proficiency in Accounting Functions and Auditing

• Experience in Budget Processes and Budgeting - Forecasting

• Demonstrated ability in Cash Flow Management

• Proven skills in Forecasting and Financial Planning

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

• CPA or CMA certification is a plus

• Strong knowledge of finance law and regulatory standards (GAAP)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of accounting software

• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities

• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
