Pay: $125K-$135K

Immediate opening for a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our
team. Reporting to the President, you (and your department) will be responsible for providing day-to-day engineering support for customers, manufacturing, and sales and marketing. You will also be responsible for all aspects of existing product lines, managing new product research & development, and assisting in bringing new products to market. This includes ownership of all engineering and product documentation. Successful candidate will be highly motivated to achieve engineering excellence.
Departmental Responsibilities
• Staff hiring & development
• New product research & development management (design, prototype, testing, document, release)
• Existing product line maintenance (design, value engineering, engineering changes)
• Sales support (special projects – quoting, costing, support drawings)
• Customer support (product application, spec review, product cross-referencing)
• Troubleshooting & field service management (“after sales” product installations)
• Literature (product information and performance data generation)
• Software maintenance and improvements (collaborate with programmers as needed)
• Test Laboratory (manage lab activities, facility, and equipment)
• Customer presentations & training
• Product certifications
• CNC punching / laser programming
• Membership & involvement in industry associations and societies
• Engineering review of more complex orders
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience as an Engineering Manager in a manufacturing
environment (HVAC industry a plus)
• BSME in Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Analytical, detail-oriented, excellent communication, organizational, and math skills
• Experience using product drawing/documentation software (Solid Modeling / CAD)
• MS Excel power user a plus
