GENERAL SCOPE: The Bottling Supervisor is responsible for executing the Company’s Food Safety Programs and maintaining the Company’s SQF Certification in the Straw Area. In addition, you will monitor the production floor and ensure all lines are efficiently operating.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Production Responsibilities:• Monitor production lines and floor to ensure the entire work area is neat, clean, and organized. Maintain a clean work environment.• Manage production personnel over various shifts.• Manage crew levels – Call in necessary employees when needed for call outs and/or other absences to maintain necessary production levels.• Manage production levels and equipment mix to maintain required customer inventory levels.• Record, report, and manage production metrics and output for each production line and Operator Specialist.• Monitor equipment downtime, investigate, and report to management.• Analyze all downtime for root causes, implement fixes/solutions to reduce downtime and increase productivity.• Direct production line operator specialists and track performance by production benchmarks. Implement training steps for those who do not meet performance benchmarks to improve production. Recognize and reward those who exceed benchmarks.• Report all maintenance items and needs to management & maintenance personnel.• Manage raw materials in the silo area.• Mix various resin color mixtures according to the Color Formulation worksheet for different customer production runs as needed.• Perform new employee orientations and walkthroughs for scheduled training shifts.• Set up biometric (finger) scans for the Isolved system for all new hires.• Receive and the person finished goods for all items produced using handheld bar code scanners.• Ensure all items for the WIP area are pulled, staged, and set out for the next shift's production.• Assist the Production Manager in ensuring that all production goals are met to the set expectations and standards from senior leadership.• Monitor floor production and potential safety hazards.• Manage inventory.• Manage time through the Isolved HR Management System.• Other responsibilities as assigned.
