CNC Machinist II
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00-5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22-27/hr (DOE)
Location: Pearland, TX - 77581
Experience: 5 years of experience preferred.

Position Summary: The Machinist will set up and operate a CNC Lathe / Mill. The Machinist will implement all data entry systems and processes and will provide daily support for software programming applications
CNC Machinist II Role Qualification:
- Demonstrates a good working knowledge of machine equipment functions and servicing.
- Able to perform preventive maintenance as assigned
- Demonstrates working knowledge of the process flow of parts through the manufacturing process.
- Fully understands and implements all data entry systems and processes. Capable of reading prints and drawings
- CNC – Has a good understanding of machine control interfaces
- Provides daily support for software programming application
- Displays a solid understanding of programming, editing, and offset
- Troubleshoots and resolves routing software issues
- Ensures that individual performance supports the shop’s efforts at maintaining performance standards in the areas of safety, cost of scrap/rework, on-time performance, direct labor hours, and manufacturing $/hr. and overtime $/day
- Demonstrates a good working knowledge of machine tooling applications and servicing
- Works closely with other machinists to provide technical assistance to tooling-related issues.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of processes necessary to complete all assigned tasks within the production schedule
- Able to run manual and CNC equipment.
CNC Machinist II Primary Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce production parts.
- Produce machined parts to close tolerance dimensions.
- Work efficiently to maintain production levels by operating multiple machines within a work cell.
- Work as a team member to solve problems with machining and production.
- Demonstrate a positive work ethic by sharing knowledge and procedures with co-workers.
- Other duties as needed and assigned
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
- Comprehends and can explain the operational steps required to complete a job so that a fellow employee may understand it. Must read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout the workday.
- Frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel material.
- Constant use of hands/fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel, or handle and manipulate parts and tools.
- Must constantly wear eye protection (Industry standard safety equipment is provided by the Company, and specific notice is posted in areas where safety equipment is required).
