SmartClinic Urgent Care is looking for a reliable, friendly X-ray Technician to join our team!

• The X-ray Technician is responsible for providing patient care in a back-office setting including medical assistant duties as well as performing X-rays Torso, Chest and Extremities.
• These duties include but are not limited to: assisting the provider with exams, procedures and other procedures related to patient care under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Performs radiographic procedures as ordered by a physician
• Position patient correctly for x-ray procedures
• Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Develop, process, and select optimum x-ray images
• Review and evaluate x-rays to determine the quality and if they need to be redone
• Answer patient questions as they relate to the procedure
• Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
• Determines proper technique through the selection of voltage, current and exposure time.
• Assisting with back-office duties Must have X-ray certificate, assist with front and back office is required. Applicant must have exceptional customer service skills, and ability to multi-task with a positive attitude.
