A client of ours in the Grocery Industry is looking to hire a Bilingual (Spanish) Recruiter. The ideal candidate must be bilingual with previous high-volume recruiting and grocery experience.
Responsible for coordinating and implementing recruitment, retention, and employment programs for locations in the DFW area to ensure low turnover and availability of qualified applicants to meet the store's operating needs. Duties include coordinating all aspects of recruiting, including selection, and hiring of new employees, improving recruiting and retention effectiveness, performing special projects, and preparing and submitting reports.
Responsibilities:
• Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates
• Establish recruiting requirements by studying organizational plans
• Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services
• Demonstrated results in building relationships with colleges, employment agencies, and other dedicated networking organizations.
• Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, using newsgroups and job sites
• Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyze responses; verify references; compare qualifications to job requirements.
• Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules; arrange travel, lodging, and meals; escort applicants to interviews; arrange community tours
• Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers, interview applicants for a consistent set of qualifications
• Manage new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements; negotiate with movers; arrange temporary housing; provide community introductions
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations
• Accomplish human resources and the organization’s mission by accomplishing results as needed
