We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team based in HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ohio, United States. This is an exciting direct hire position with standard fulltime business hours. This is a great company to work with that offers tremendous growth!
In this role, you will be mainly responsible for managing financial records, including processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This position is in the accounting industry and offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.
Responsibilities:
• Handle account reconciliation tasks
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date
• Process invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and financial management
• Maintain and update billing records and ensure all billing procedures comply with set standards
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and invoicing
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed
• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and update them as necessary.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Solid understanding of Billing processes and procedures
• Experience with Invoice Processing is a must
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Excellent problem solving/judgement skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
