We are actively supporting a great organization in the Miami Beach area(Sunset Harbor) with their search for an Accounting Specialist. This is a great role for someone who is looking to join a stable organization that has been growing and expanding their operational footprint. The position will start onsite 5 days a week but will transition into a hybrid role once the duties are learned. The Accounting Specialist will support the Accounting Manager by performing Accounts Payables and Receivables duties to include:
- Receiving and processing invoices
- Coding invoices to the correct General Ledger accounts
- Reconciling vendor accounts and the vendor aging report
- Supporting vendor inquiries
- Processing both domestic and international payments
- Daily posting of cash receipts and vouchers
- Posting customer payments - reconciling customer accounts
- Supporting with customer collections as needed and answering customer questions
- Ad Hoc reporting for management
Requirements include:
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
- 2 to 3 years of full cycle accounts payable experience
- 2 to 3 years of accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency with Excel - pivot tables and v look ups
- SAP experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
