We are actively supporting a great organization in the Miami Beach area(Sunset Harbor) with their search for an Accounting Specialist. This is a great role for someone who is looking to join a stable organization that has been growing and expanding their operational footprint. The position will start onsite 5 days a week but will transition into a hybrid role once the duties are learned. The Accounting Specialist will support the Accounting Manager by performing Accounts Payables and Receivables duties to include:

• Receiving and processing invoices
• Coding invoices to the correct General Ledger accounts
• Reconciling vendor accounts and the vendor aging report
• Supporting vendor inquiries
• Processing both domestic and international payments
• Daily posting of cash receipts and vouchers
• Posting customer payments - reconciling customer accounts
• Supporting with customer collections as needed and answering customer questions
• Ad Hoc reporting for management

Requirements include:

• Bachelors or Associates Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
• 2 to 3 years of full cycle accounts payable experience
• 2 to 3 years of accounts receivable experience
• Proficiency with Excel - pivot tables and v look ups
• SAP experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
