• Profound understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols

• Proven experience in the oil and gas industry as a Systems Administrator
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner

• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the oil and gas industry
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Systems Administrator in the Oil & Gas industry, based in Houston, Texas. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our SCADA system, offering support to the Control Center and Operations departments, and providing assistance to field personnel. Responsibilities
• Manage the design, installation, testing, and implementation of the SCADA system as per the requirements of the Control Center and Operations departments.
• Investigate, analyze, and rectify complex SCADA system issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure data visibility and accessibility across different departments to facilitate smooth operations.
• Provide technical support to field personnel to resolve field communication issues.
• Supervise the SCADA system to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
• Apply knowledge of TCP/IP, PLC Programming, HMI, and OITL to enhance system efficiency.
• Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement system improvements.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on account activity.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements to inform system improvements.
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Proficiency in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems• Profound understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols
