Required:

• 5+ years of experience as an estimator specifically supporting design build projects:
• Electrical-focused but ability to support GC work/other disciplines
• Understanding of RFP documents, specifications, and design drawings
• Developing high-level project schedules in MS Project and/or P6 to support proposals
• Experience utilizing Accubid, Procore, and Excel
• HS Diploma

Client Project Portfolio (Utility Services):

• Clients: US Government (US Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, etc.) & commercial clients
• Large scale lighting retrofits
• Emergency power / load shed systems
• Solar/PV systems
• Battery energy storage systems (BESS)
• Electrical construction for US Government & commercial clients

Responsibilities: A major client of Insight Global and leading provider of utility services is seeking to add an Estimator to its growing team! As an Estimator, you will work closely with the proposal team to generate and submit RFIs for proposals, general takeoffs using estimating software, generation of the electrical construction estimate, as well as estimate breakout onto client-provided bid forms, working with stakeholders to input subcontractor pricing and general requirements costs into the project estimate, develops high-level project schedules via Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 to support proposal packages, managing occasional change orders, and ultimately ensure the overall accuracy, completeness, and competitiveness of cost estimate.

We can pay between $36/hr to $57/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience and education.

This is a 6-month contract to hire, remote position. Light travel for site walks, 15%-20%
