Job Title: Tool and Die Maker
Shift: 1st shift
Pay Range: $33.33 - $35.62 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Construct, alter, and repair a variety of tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, machines, and equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, tables, specifications, and handbook data to layout and inspect machined, welded, or formed parts.
- Identify and report blueprint errors that may affect tool function.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers, calipers, etc.) to check parts to close tolerances.
- Perform design reviews and address fixturing concerns.
- Engage in skilled bench work (filing, scraping, grinding, fitting, assembly) to ensure proper operation.
- Uphold quality guidelines and actively contribute to product quality improvement.
- Report improper operation, faulty equipment, and defective materials.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- Experience in machining and toolmaking
- 5+ years of Weld Fixture Fabrication and/or Tool and Die Making
- CAD experience (CREO preferred)
- Proficiency in math with an understanding of geometric tolerance (GD&T)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a project team
