Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

Shift: 1st shift

Pay Range: $33.33 - $35.62 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Construct, alter, and repair a variety of tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, machines, and equipment.
• Interpret blueprints, tables, specifications, and handbook data to layout and inspect machined, welded, or formed parts.
• Identify and report blueprint errors that may affect tool function.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers, calipers, etc.) to check parts to close tolerances.
• Perform design reviews and address fixturing concerns.
• Engage in skilled bench work (filing, scraping, grinding, fitting, assembly) to ensure proper operation.
• Uphold quality guidelines and actively contribute to product quality improvement.
• Report improper operation, faulty equipment, and defective materials.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Experience in machining and toolmaking
• 5+ years of Weld Fixture Fabrication and/or Tool and Die Making
• CAD experience (CREO preferred)
• Proficiency in math with an understanding of geometric tolerance (GD&T)
• Ability to work independently or as part of a project team
