We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is within the financial industry and offers the ability to work remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial information, conducting quantitative analyses, and preparing detailed reports to assist in making informed investment decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze financial information to aid in investment decisions

• Conduct quantitative analyses of information impacting investment programs

• Develop recurring monthly deliverables including 'Mid Month' and month-end close processes where a full year forecast is required

• Isolate trends from data and prepare narratives explaining financial results, with emphasis on comparing actual results to forecasted expectations

• Use large data sets, power query, power pivot, and power BI to analyze data and develop forecasts

• Prepare materials for client meetings, ensuring they are ready for distribution 1 business day before the meeting

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately

• Utilize financial software and applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for various tasks

• Collaborate with a team of 7 professionals supporting accounting and finance objectives and deliverables
