Summary: Seeking a Sr Supplier Quality Engineer to support Supplier Project Management, Performance Improvement, and Quality System Management.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of experience driving Supply Chain Improvements.
Expertise in Root Cause Corrective Action.
Proficiency in problem-solving tools (5-Whys, FMEA, 8-D, Pareto, fault tree analysis, Ishikawa diagrams).
Experience in blueprint reading and GD&T.
Knowledge of raw materials and manufacturing/quality inspection processes.
High ethical standards.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of contract flow-down.
Knowledge of aerospace prime customer requirements (e.g., Boeing, AIRBUS).
Six sigma tools and methodology; green belt or black belt experience.
Lean manufacturing practices.
Familiarity with Quality Management Systems/Specifications (AS9100, Nadcap, ISO 9001).
Ability to create statistically valid control plans and audit plans.
Job Responsibilities:
Drive supplier improvement projects for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Lead problem-solving teams to reduce supplier non-conformities and improve On Time Delivery (OTD).
Coordinate modifications to procedures/processes and validate improvements.
Perform source inspections as required.
Analyze product/process trend data to minimize variability and production costs.
Develop product quality plans and inspection methodologies.
Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests and day-to-day nonconformances.
Interpret customer requirements and conduct Purchase Order reviews.
Participate on Material Review Board (MRB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) processes.
