Responsibilities

• Facilitate month-end/year-end closing process
• Review journal entries, accruals, GL reconciliations, and entries
• Mentor and grow a small team of accounting professionals
• Complete budgeting and forecasting to help drive business decisions
• Monitor, analyze, and report work in progress (WIP)
• Facilitate and guide the annual audit process
• Collaborate with HR and other divisional leaders
• Additional duties as the business may require

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading an accounting staff
• Experience with financial reporting, analysis, and contract management
• Experience with internal controls and facilitating audit

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• CPA highly desired, but not required

Skills

• Experience with work in progress (WIP)
• Versed in month-end close, audit, and financial reporting
• Strong communication skills and the desire to lead a team
• Contract management experience
• Operational accounting and/or finance experience in construction or manufacturing desired

Job Type: Full Time, Direct Hire, 40 - 45 hours per week (up to 50 hours per week may be required during close)
 

Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $155,000.00 per year
