Blazerjobs is proud to partner with the local school district in Saginaw, MI to fill a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position. We are committed to providing exceptional professionals to support the communication and language needs of students in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to support students' communication needs in the classroom and at home.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language goals and progress.
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Michigan state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
