**Job Title: Full-Time School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or SLPA**
A local school is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the uping academic year. The selected candidate may need to provide supervision for an SLPA. The therapist will be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing speech, language, and munication disorders, and developing appropriate treatment plans. Additionally, they will collaborate closely with families and caregivers to manage munication disorders. The caseload will primarily consist of PreK to elementary-aged students across multiple buildings within the district.
**Position Details:**
- **Start and End Date:** August 1, 2024 - May 28, 2025
- **Caseload Size and Age Range:** 55 students; PreK - elementary
- **Number of Buildings:** Primary assignment at one building for 3 days per week; overflow support at other elementary buildings for the remaining 2 days per week
- **Interview Availability:** June 18 - June 20, 2024
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct assessments and diagnose munication disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for students.
- Provide supervision and guidance to SLPA as needed.
- Educate students, families, and caregivers on speech disorders and treatment strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, treatments, and progress.
**Experience:**
- Previous experience as an SLP or SLPA is required.
- Experience providing supervision to SLPA is preferred.
**Education:**
1. Must have a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology (for SLP).
2. SLPA candidates must meet state requirements for licensure.
3. Full accreditation (CCC) preferred for SLP.
