Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Remote (Serving North Carolina Students)
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Contract
Pay: $45/Hour

Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments using standardized tools and virtual methods.
• Diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students from diverse backgrounds.

Therapy and Intervention:

• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on student needs.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services through a virtual platform.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student learning and development.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student progress and needs.
• Educate and support parents and teachers in understanding and implementing speech and language strategies.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and communications.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including IDEA and HIPAA.
• Prepare and submit required reports and documentation in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a school-based SLP, with virtual therapy experience preferred.
• Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs.
