Job Summary:

The Computer Technician will play a crucial role in organizing IT closets across multiple hospital facilities in Central Florida. This involves managing and installing cabling infrastructure to support various IT equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of IT support principles and have hands-on experience with cabling installation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, install, and maintain cabling infrastructure, including fiber optic and copper cables.
• Configure and troubleshoot network switches, routers, and other network devices.
• Organize and label IT closets to ensure efficient management of equipment.
• Document and maintain accurate records of all cabling installations and configurations.
• Provide technical support for IT equipment and network issues.
• Assist with the migration of IT equipment to new locations.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and cabling principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Reliable transportation is required as the technician will be traveling to multiple facilities within Central Florida. Mileage will be reimbursed.
