Job Summary: We are looking for an IT Deployment Technician to assist with the deployment, configuration, and support of various laptops (HP, Lenovo, Dell) for a key project over the next 2-3 months. The ideal candidate will have experience with hardware setup, software installation, and troubleshooting, as well as a solid understanding of IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment and Configuration: Set up and configure laptops from different manufacturers (HP, Lenovo, Dell) according to project specifications.
Software Installation: Install and update required software, including operating systems, applications, and security patches.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of configurations, deployments, and any issues encountered during the process.
User Support: Provide technical support to end-users as needed, addressing any questions or concerns related to their new laptops.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing and tracking inventory of deployed laptops and related equipment.
Compliance: Ensure all deployments adhere to company policies and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in deploying and configuring laptops from HP, Lenovo, and Dell. Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS) and software applications.
Experience: Previous experience in a similar IT deployment or support role is highly desirable.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
