eClinicalWorks Application Support Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and experienced eClinicalWorks Support Specialist to join our applications team. The eClinicalWorks Support Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and support of our eClinicalWorks software for both the EMR and RCM functions, as well as related systems. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the successful optimization, maintenance, and use of eClinicalWorks to support our healthcare and business operations to deliver exceptional patient care. This role will collaborate with medical, RCM, and operational leaders to standardize, streamline, and optimize clinical and business workflows to meet the strategic goals of the organization.
As an Application Support Specialist, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the following areas:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and administrative staff, to identify and address system issues, user needs, and process improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for eClinicalWorks-related escalations, troubleshooting complex issues, and providing timely resolution.
- Maintain and develop reports within eClincialWorks for the varied needs of the business.
- Develop and implement support strategies and best practices for eClinicalWorks to ensure smooth operations and maximum system availability.
- Coordinate and oversee system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance user proficiency and system adoption.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in eClinicalWorks support and proactively recommend system enhancements and optimizations.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
- Collaborate with vendors and other external stakeholders to resolve system-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitoring and managing the project resources, scope and timeline.
- Ensures clinical and business workflows are properly developed, tested, and implemented in production to drive outcomes.
- Develop and document workflows, configure features and functions in EMR and RCM, and help support training the business capabilities to end users.
- Identify areas of improvements for existing systems and new opportunities that will drive value to the business and support the organizational goals in a broader sense.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Education: High school graduate or equivalent
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred Experience: Understanding of OB/GYN terminology, eClinical Works EMR
SKILLS:
