Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Commercial Lines Insurance Account Executive to join the team of a reputable insurance firm. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with commercial clients, providing exceptional service, and identifying opportunities for growth and retention. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction and driving business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial insurance clients, building and maintaining strong relationships based on trust and mutual respect.
- Conduct regular client reviews and assessments to understand their evolving needs, identify opportunities for additional coverage or risk mitigation strategies, and provide strategic insurance recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including underwriters and account managers, to deliver comprehensive insurance solutions that meet clients' unique requirements and objectives.
- Coordinate policy renewals, endorsements, and claims handling processes, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery and resolution of client inquiries or issues.
- Proactively identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling additional insurance products to enhance coverage and provide added value to clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to provide informed advice and guidance to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management, with a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and insurance partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Relevant insurance certifications (e.g., CISR, CIC) preferred but not required.
