Senior Systems Engineer
Location: Schofield Barracks / Fort Shafter, Honolulu, HI
Employment Type: Full-Time
Clearance Required: Secret Clearance with completed T5 investigation or higher
About the Role:
Join our dynamic team supporting Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing, configuring, and maintaining Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) to secure classified data and networks. This position is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Department of Defense (DoD) requirements and a proven ability to manage complex systems both independently and within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate CSfC compliant solutions.
- Develop and enhance system performance through scripting.
- Author and maintain detailed system documentation.
- Provide training on system use and troubleshooting.
- Support cross-domain solutions and infrastructure design.
- Configure network and hardware to meet DoD and NSA standards.
- Manage VMWare/VDI infrastructures and PKI Certificate Authorities.
- Offer Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support.
- Lead special projects and contribute to research and analysis.
Qualifications:
Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance with completed T5 investigation or higher.
Experience: 10+ years in Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience with a relevant degree).
Certifications: Must hold CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP. MCSA, Linux, or equivalent certification is also required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Office located at Schofield Barracks / Fort Shafter, Hawaii.
- Requires climbing stairs (no elevator access).
- Standard day shift, Monday – Friday; occasional evenings/weekends.
- Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds.
