MI Solutions Consultant

Description:

As a Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for application development and database support. This role involves working with various cross-functional teams to provide technical support of database environments improving process performance, reliability, and safety.

The Manufacturing Intelligence (MI) Solutions Consultant is responsible for working with clients and vendors to implement project tasks with the established scope of work in alignment with project goals and objectives under the supervision of project leads or managers. This role requires industrial specific technical knowledge and programming best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide project-related engineering services including MES development, web development, process historian configuration, network configuration, SQL configuration and general IT support.

• Provide technical sales support for Company sales team members, including client visits, job walk-downs, and proposal development/review.

• Function as frontline communication and point-of-contact for clients.

• Perform duties as a technical lead which includes working with and providing guidance for younger, less experienced engineers as needed to satisfy project requirements.

• Travel up to 25% as required to support project and client objectives.

Skills & Qualifications: 

• Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Ignition platform and extensive database experience.

• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server technologies (SQL Server clustering, LogShipping, SSRS, PowerBI, etc.)

• Preferred knowledge of Azure or AWS configuration and deployments
