Job Description:

RedMatter Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Lead to join our team. This remote role involves overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in operations and maintenance, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of technical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Maintenance Coordination: Develop and execute maintenance plans for hardware and software systems to ensure their continued functionality and security.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of operations and maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
• Incident Management: Manage and respond to system incidents and outages, coordinating with technical teams to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of operational procedures, maintenance activities, and system configurations.
• Compliance: Ensure all operations and maintenance activities comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in operations and maintenance, preferably in a technical or IT environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in monitoring and maintenance tools and software.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
