Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately billing patients and insurance companies, ensuring timely reimbursement for medical services rendered. If you have strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of medical billing processes, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify patient information, diagnoses, procedures, and insurance coverage to ensure accurate billing.
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail.
• Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, researching and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Process payments from insurance companies and patients, posting payments to patient accounts accurately.
• Generate and send patient statements for outstanding balances, following up on overdue accounts.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing issues and ensure timely reimbursement.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations and other compliance standards.
• Stay informed about changes in healthcare regulations and insurance billing requirements.

To be considered, you must have a High School Diploma or GED and:

• Minimum 2 year of previous medical billing experience required
• Positive Attitude
• Self Sufficient
• Valid Driver’s License
• Submit to a drug screen
• Clean Criminal Record (Prior convictions may not necessarily disqualify you from working for this company)
