Our company is currently seeking a Medical Billing/AR Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for posting charges, posting insurance and patient payments, answering patient billing calls and following up on denied insurance claims for private physician practices.
Responsibilities:
- Post medical charges using accurate CPT and ICD10 codes
- Post insurance payments based on ERA and/or EOB
- Process patient statements and post payments
- Answer patient billing calls
- Follow-up on outstanding insurance claims and patient balances
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in medical practice billing
- Fundamental knowledge of revenue cycle management
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
