Employment Type: Contract/Hybrid

Location: Kirkland, WA

Pay rate: $102-$120/hr. DOE

Responsibilities:

• Data Scientist: The Cloud Capacity Planning and Analytics team at client’s is an innovative, customer-focused group responsible for capacity demand planning, forecasting, cost measurement, reporting, and analysis for client’s top-tier infrastructure.
• You will play a crucial role in developing a proof of concept (POC) that runs parallel to existing models, applying AI forecasting to long-range infrastructure planning.
• Your work will focus on integrating advanced AI to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• The POC will serve as a guide for full-scale implementation and platform integration.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in statistical regression, Bayesian forecasting, econometrics, and causal analytics.
• Proficient in Java/Python, object-oriented programming, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Skilled in MySQL, Big Data, Hive-Hadoop, Scala, PyTorch, Spark, TensorFlow, and data modeling.
• Experienced in developing high-performance products and AI/ML techniques.
• Proficient in unit testing, profiling, and code tuning.
• Effective communicator with experience with the software industry’s architecture and data visualization tools.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant experience with a master's in computer science or data analytics, or a PhD with 3 years of related experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Expertise in time series forecasting (specifically ARIMA with machine learning, RNN, and LSTM), core AI/ML techniques and algorithms.
• Direct experience creating and running these models
