Amotec is actively seeking candidates for a Cost Accounting Manager opportunity! Located 30 minutes south of Cleveland OH, our client is a leading manufacturer in the commercial product industry and has been in business for almost 100 years. Reporting to the Controller, the Cost Accounting Manager will play a critical role in driving financial performance, managing risks, and supporting the strategic goals of the company. Finance Manager Responsibilities:

• Analyze production costs, identifying areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize the use of resources while maintaining quality standards.
• Develop and oversee the budgeting process, financial forecasting, and strategic financial planning to ensure the company meets its financial goals.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards, such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), as well as overseeing tax planning and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is mandatory
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in a Finance leadership role within the manufacturing industry
• Cost accounting experience required
