Electronic Test Technician
Setup test equipment following customer documentation.
Run/perform testing
Document all test materials/results
Perform failure analysis of defective internal / external product with guidance from higher level technicians.
Troubleshoot and repair failed electronic units.
Conduct in-process and final tests as required.
Evaluate the condition of all assembly process methods as appropriate to monitor process performance, cycle times, and process capabilities
Perform test set calibrations.
Education/Skills
Associate's degree in Electronics or a similar Engineering Technology field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of experience testing electronic boards, modules, and equipment.
Operate test equipment: power supply, multimeter, oscilloscope, signal generator.
Reads schematics, drawings, and manufacturer’s specifications.
ESD Certification, IPC 610/620 Certification.
Familiar with ITAR badge restrictions, related materials and documentation.
Understands Electronic Theory and knowledge.
Prioritizes responsibilities in line with production schedules.
Performs complex math calculations.
Follows detailed written and verbal instructions.
Computer skills: data input & retrieval, word processing, spreadsheets (Excel), flow charting, etc.
