Job Title: Hand Tool Calibration & Repair Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Calibration Technician with a focus on hand tools. You will calibrate and repair tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and more, ensuring accuracy in line with NIST traceable standards.

Responsibilities:

• Calibrate, repair, and maintain mechanical tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot and resolve precision tool issues.
• Prepare ISO/IEC 17025-compliant reports and certificates.
• Ensure all work meets NIST traceable standards.
• Inspect equipment and collaborate on calibration procedures.
• Provide technical support during audits.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

All calibration is to be performed in accordance with NIST traceable standards. MQC is A2LA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994.

Requirements and Skills:

• 3-5 years of calibration and hand tool repair experience
• Military PMEL/TMDE training preferred
• ISO 17025 experience preferred
• Attention to detail with a focus on producing error-free work.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday- Friday, 8- hour shifts

Pay: $20- 30
