Job Title: Marketing Specialist:
We are looking for a creative and results-driven Marketing Specialist to plan, strategize, and execute our marketing campaigns. The Marketing Specialist will support the business strategy department through growth marketing, branding, and SEO for current and upcoming games across major channels. This person should be familiar with paid media campaigns, owned media, budget management, PC games and mobile games.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in different markets within the games and entertainment sector.
- Plan, define, and lead marketing campaigns for both current games and new game launches, aligned within business objectives, primarily via paid media.
- Project, manage, update, and report marketing budgets and spend to executive management and stakeholders.
- Prepare go-to-market strategies for game launch campaigns and major events, while presenting said plans to directors and leadership.
- Propose and coordinate new creatives, in conjunction with our design and web teams, for banners, landing pages, and ads to use for promoting our games.
- Be the primary point of contact and facilitator with external agencies, vendors, and ad networks.
- Implement and optimize mobile user acquisition campaigns on major networks such as Google, Meta, TikTok, AppLovin, Apple Search Ads, and more.
- Oversee all tracking, tags, and analytics across multiple web domains, mobile games, and content.
- Work in partnership with the organic media or community management team to coordinate major game events and campaign launches to both new and returning users.
- Ensure media outlets receive updates on major game launches or events via press releases or PR partners.
- Register new domains with search registries and work with the web development team for increased exposure and search rankings for game websites.
- Coordinate with game producers and developers for upcoming content, while keeping abreast of in-game sentiment and communications.
Skills and Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience on the client-side as a digital marketer in video game industry or in digital/full marketing agency
- Experience working with international teams, languages, and departments to coordinate multi-region events or launches is a plus
- Experience planning launch campaigns for new games, including budgeting, targeting, OKR sizing, media mix planning, and reporting is a plus
- Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Apple Search Ads, TikTok Ads, and other programmatic DSPs, like ironSource and Applovin
- Knowledge on different ad campaign types, such as Display/Search/App/Engagement/Retargeting
- Understanding of performance marketing and game management metrics and how they impact business results, such as conversions, installs, CPI, CAC, PU%, MAU, ARPPU, LTV, and retention
- Passion for games, specifically MMORPGs and gacha games
- Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus
