We are seeking a motivated, highly organized professional to join our team as an Insurance Producer & Agency Manager. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both building client relationships and driving business growth while also playing an important role in the day-to-day operations of the agency.
This position combines two critical areas of our business: insurance production and office administration.
As an Insurance Producer, you will be responsible for developing new business, cultivating client relationships, conducting insurance reviews, and helping clients identify coverage solutions that meet their individual needs.
As an Office Administrator, you will help ensure the agency operates efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with company standards and procedures.
The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, strong communicator, self-starter, and organized problem-solver who can confidently move between client-facing sales responsibilities and internal administrative operations.
This role includes a base salary plus commission, giving high-performing individuals the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings through new business development and sales.
Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective clients through networking, referrals, lead lists, community involvement, and other business development strategies.
Proactively contact leads by phone, email, social media, and in-person outreach to establish relationships and schedule appointments.
Meet with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
Conduct professional, consultative sales presentations with the goal of helping clients select insurance products that best fit their needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage retention and identify additional coverage opportunities.
Conduct annual client reviews to evaluate changing needs, coverage gaps, and opportunities for additional protection.
Develop and maintain a strong referral network by consistently delivering an exceptional client experience.
Request referrals from satisfied clients and actively cultivate referral opportunities.
Serve as a trusted resource and point of contact for clients throughout the insurance process.
Assist clients with claims and help facilitate communication with the appropriate insurance carriers.
Follow up with clients and prospects in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Provide a high level of service that reflects the standards and values of The ART of Insurance.
Coordinate daily office activities and administrative operations to promote efficiency, organization, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Help establish and maintain effective administrative processes and workflows.
Monitor office needs and ensure necessary supplies, resources, and materials are available.
Manage phone calls, emails, correspondence, packages, and other general office communications.
Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment.
Manage calendars, meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and other scheduling needs for leadership.
Prepare reports, presentations, proposals, and other documents as requested.
Assist with internal projects and special assignments.
Support colleagues and other team members with administrative needs as necessary.
Create, maintain, and update personnel, financial, client, and other company records and databases.
Assist with budgeting, bookkeeping, expense tracking, and other financial administrative procedures.
Prepare and submit timely reports.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure information is organized and accessible.
Help coordinate administrative responsibilities among team members to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
Assist with onboarding, organization, and other internal administrative processes.
Collaborate with leadership and team members to identify opportunities to improve office efficiency and client service.
Active insurance license in the state of South Carolina.
Ability to successfully pass a background check.
Ability to meet all applicable state continuing education requirements.
Strong understanding of insurance products and the ability to effectively communicate coverage options.
Proven ability to prospect, network, build relationships, and develop new business.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to help clients.
Above-average analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Comfortable using technology, CRM systems, email, and other business software.

Previous experience in insurance, financial services, sales, administration, or a related field is preferred.
