Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description
The Quality Inspector performs in-process and final inspection of precision sheet metal and machined components to ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards. Working closely with 2nd shift machinists, this role focuses on interpreting GD&T, applying aerospace documentation requirements, and using a variety of inspection tools to verify dimensional accuracy and product quality.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean, modern 90,000-square-foot job shop specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication and close tolerance machining. The facility serves leading OEMs in the medical, laboratory and analytical instrumentation, aerospace, defense, and electronics industries, providing exposure to high-quality, advanced manufacturing work. The environment operates under ISO 9001 certification, with established quality systems and procedures. Inspectors work alongside a team of seven colleagues in the Inspection department and collaborate closely with 2nd shift machinists, using a variety of precision tools and, at times, CMM equipment in a professional, well-organized shop setting.
