Job Description
The Automation Engineer is responsible for successfully completing projects that are broad in nature. You will define the projects, set the goals, and communicate clearly and concisely with all affected parties. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing systems and equipment to meet production goals and quality standards.

Work Environment
This role is part of the corporate engineering team, with the ability to work remotely at times, especially during design phases. The standard workweek is five days, with hybrid flexibility available. The facility is a large manufacturing space of nearly 500,000 square feet, dedicated to producing sheet metal shelving units. It is an older, somewhat noisy building due to fabrication and manufacturing lines. Office spaces are strategically located above the manufacturing floor for easy access to production lines and office work. The work environment is flexible, with a casual dress code and a laid-back atmosphere. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
