Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting is beneficial
- Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and support staff
- Proficiency in assessment and intervention for a range of speech and language disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement targeted intervention plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Offer direct therapy and consultative support, adapting to the needs of each child
- Educate teachers and parents on best practices for supporting student communication
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
