• Operate a variety of CNC milling equipment, including multi-axis vertical and horizontal machining centers.
• Follow engineering drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications to produce quality components.
• Interpret GD&T requirements and ensure parts meet dimensional specifications.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
• Complete basic calculations involving shop math, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Prepare machines for production by loading and securing tooling, fixtures, vises, pallets, and workholding devices.
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.

• Experience operating CNC milling or machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Working knowledge of precision inspection tools and measurement techniques.
• Strong understanding of basic mathematics and manufacturing calculations.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.

• Background in aerospace, defense, or other high-precision manufacturing industries.
• Experience machining aluminum and other aerospace-grade materials.
• Familiarity with complex multi-axis machining centers, including 5-axis equipment.
• Exposure to Makino or similar high-speed machining platforms is a plus.

This position is based in a modern manufacturing facility producing precision-machined components and assemblies for advanced aerospace and defense applications. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
